Katie Bethune-Leamen is a Toronto-based visual artist. Recent exhibitions include Dazzle Shizzle (MKG127, Toronto), Ghost Chorus: A Dirge for Dead Slang commissioned for Nuit Blanche, the public sculpture commission Mushroom Studio (Toronto Sculpture Garden), and Goodbye to Romance  (Mercer Union). In the past year she has participated in residencies including Why Are Conceptual Artists Painting Again? Because They Think It’s A Good Idea at the Banff Centre for the Arts; Reverse Pedadgogy III, The Model Arts Centre (Sligo, IE) and Reverse Pedagogy II, Palazzo Zen (Venice, IT) and I_Wanna_See_You De Overslag (Eindhoven, NL) and YYZ Artists Outlet.
